About the
Dentist
Dr. Bormann was
born and raised in Michigan City. He graduated from Elston High School
in 1985 and Valparaiso University
in 1989. He attended Loyola University
School
of Dentistry where he was a Clinical Honors Student and graduated in
the top 20 of his class. He was awarded the
American Association of Oral and
Maxillofacial Surgeons Award for clinical excellence in Oral
Surgery his senior year. After graduating in 1992, he joined practice with his father,
Dr Donald I. Bormann. In 1997, his father retired. Since graduating
Dental School, Dr Bormann has attended hundreds of hours of Dental Continuing Education
Classes and is up to date on the latest
dental technologies. He is a member of the
American Equilibration Society,
which is the world's largest organization devoted to diagnosis and
treatment of occlusal disease. The
International Congress of Oral Implantologists which is
the world's largest dental implant society
and the LaPorte County Dental Society. He currently serves his country as
a Dental Officer in the U.S.
Naval Reserves. In 2005, his Dental Unit won the prestigious Vaughn Award
for Outstanding Navy Reserve Unit of the year while serving as
Executive Officer.
